Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Shot ("the Service"), a GTM intelligence platform operated by Shot ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Shot is a GTM intelligence platform that unifies your revenue tools (CRM, calls, emails, LinkedIn, outreach) into one shared AI brain. The Service deploys pre-built AI agents that execute across your GTM stack with human approval on every action. Shot can be accessed through AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, and others) via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), as well as through our web dashboard and agent interface.

3. Account & Access

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
  • You must not share API keys or OAuth tokens with unauthorized third parties.
  • You may connect the Service to third-party AI assistants and revenue tools. You are responsible for the content you store through these integrations.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Store content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.
  • Store sensitive health information (HIPAA-regulated data) or payment card data (PCI-DSS-regulated data).
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
  • Use the Service to store passwords, secret keys, or other authentication credentials.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that could harm, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users.

5. Your Data

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of all content (memories, agent outputs, plans) you store in the Service.
  • License: You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service. This includes sending content to third-party APIs (e.g., OpenAI) for embedding generation.
  • Deletion: You can delete your memories at any time. Deleted memories are archived for 30 days (during which they can be restored), then permanently purged.
  • Export: You may request an export of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Organizations & Teams

  • Organization administrators can manage members, projects, and access permissions.
  • When you join an organization, other members with appropriate permissions can access shared memories within their assigned projects.
  • Organization administrators can remove members. Removed members lose access to organization data but their account remains active.

7. AI Agents & Human Approval

  • AI agents deployed through the Service propose plans and actions for your review.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving agent-proposed actions before execution.
  • Shot is not liable for actions executed after your approval.
  • Agent outputs are generated using AI and may contain errors. You should verify critical information before acting on it.

8. Third-Party Integrations

  • The Service integrates with third-party AI assistants via MCP and OAuth 2.1, and with revenue tools (CRM, email, calendar) via Composio.
  • We are not responsible for the behavior, availability, or data practices of third-party services.
  • When you use the Service through an AI assistant or connected tool, that service's own terms and privacy policies also apply.

9. API & Rate Limits

  • API access is subject to rate limits (currently 120 requests/minute for general operations, 30/minute for AI operations).
  • We may adjust rate limits with reasonable notice.
  • Excessive or abusive usage may result in temporary or permanent suspension.

10. Availability & Support

  • We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We are not liable for data loss caused by third-party service outages (e.g., database provider, AI API).

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
  • Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
